June 18, 2009 - BOWLES RETURNS TO INFINEON RACEWAY SEEKING ANOTHER CAMPING WORLD WEST WIN
The current championship runner-up is the defending race winner on the 1.99-mile California track

SONOMA, CALIF. – Jason Bowles returns to familiar territory this coming Saturday (June 20th), when the NASCAR Camping World West Series travels to Infineon Raceway for Round Seven of the championship. The Californian, who grew up racing on road courses, enters the Bennett Lane Winery 200 presented by Supercuts as the defending race winner and second in the championship standings.

When the 13-race NASCAR Camping World West Series schedule was announced early in the year, one of the races Bowles and his Sunrise Ford crew highlighted was the annual trip to Infineon Raceway in Northern California. While Bowles has become a talented circle track racer over the past several years, as evidence by his multiple race wins on variety of ovals, his racing roots are firmly planted in road racing. With multiple race wins on the 1.99-mile undulating road course already on his resume, including the 2008 running of the NASCAR Camping World West Series, Round Seven offers the ideal opportunity for Bowles to once again steer his No. 6 Sunrise Ford/Oakley/Joe Gibbs Racing Oil/GS 610/RPM 12/Justice Brothers/Bell/Ford into victory lane. Certainly a vast majority of the fans on-hand will be keeping an eye on the former karting and formula car driver throughout the weekend, given Bowles is currently second in the championship fight with one win, three podium finishes and two pole positions.

June 9, 2009 - BOWLES STANDS ON THE PODIUM IN OREGON WITH RUNNER-UP FINISH IN NASCAR CAMPING WORLD WEST SERIES RACE
Title contender strengthens second place in championship standings with third podium finish at Douglas County Speedway

ROSEBURG, ORE. – American Jason Bowles continued his run of podium finishes on half-mile ovals on Saturday (June 6), finishing second in Round Six of the NASCAR Camping World Series at the Douglas County Speedway in Oregon. With the result, the up-and-coming stock car driver strengthened his hold on second place in the championship title chase.

A one-day event, the Toyota/Bi-Mart 150 presented by NAPA Auto Parts offered the latest opportunity for Bowles to showcase his talents behind the wheel of NASCAR Camping World West Series car. Given his previous success on half-mile ovals, two wins at Irwindale Speedway and pair of third place finishes in the two previous visits to Douglas County Speedway, many expected Bowles to be among the drivers to watch. The former karting and formula car standout did just that.

Bowles, having posted a top-three result in the opening practice sessions and a somewhat disappointing sixth place run in single-car qualifying, immediately began to make his mark when the green flag waved for the 150-lap affair. Showing good speed in traffic and avoiding three incidents before the 1/3 mark, the No. 6 Sunrise Ford/Oakley/Joe Gibbs Racing Oil/GS 610/RPM 12/Justice Brothers/Bell/Ford was soon among the lead back. Bowles continued his advance all the way to second place, chasing the eventual race winner all the way to the checkered flag. In scoring his third podium finish of the season, the Californian maintained second place in the title fight, 36 points back of the lead.

June 4, 2009 - DOUGLAS COUNTY SPEEDWAY LATEST CHALLENGE FOR BOWLES IN THE NASCAR CAMPING WORLD WEST SERIES
Californian enters Round Six having finished on the podium in both previous visits to the half-mile Oregon oval

ROSEBURG, ORE.  – Jason Bowles resumes his pursuit of the NASCAR Camping World West Series title on Saturday (June 6), with Round Six at the Douglas County Speedway in Oregon. Thanks to a race win, a runner-up finish and results among the top-10 in every round thus far, the talented Californian enters the Toyota/Bi-Mart 150 presented by NAPA Auto Parts second in the title chase and one of the front-runners to leave the Northwest oval with a victory.

One of only two half-mile ovals on the 13-race NASCAR Camping World West Series calendar, Douglas County Speedway is sure to present an interesting challenge to all the title contenders. That being said, Bowles enters the one-day event in Oregon having enjoyed success at the banked oval in his previous visits, as well as at similar half-mile tracks. In two career starts at the Douglas Speedway, the former karting and formula car standout has finished on the podium twice, taking the checkered flag in third place both times. In addition, Bowles has two series wins at the 0.500-mile Irwindale Speedway. Given these results and the fact that No. 6 Sunrise Ford/Oakley/Joe Gibbs Racing Oil/GS 610/RPM 12/Justice Brothers/Bell/Ford has started from the pole position twice in the opening five races, and has yet to finish outside of the top-10, many on hand will be keeping an eye on the current championship runner-up.
